School District Classified Employee of the Month
April 13, 2016
BCMS would like to recognize Jerry Jimenez as the Boundary County Classified Employee of the Month.

Jerry has been a great addition to our staff. He brings a cooperative attitude and an outstanding work ethic to our building. Boundary County Middle School would not be the place it is today without Jerry.

Jerry is a total team player. Every day I see him helping others whenever he has a chance. Just today I saw him helping the food services staff by staffing a portion of the lunch service line (you can see him there almost every day). He has also been helping our school as a “B” team coach for many years now (which takes a lot of patience by the way). Any time he is asked for anything he responds cheerfully and ready to do whatever is asked of him.

Jerry doesn’t have to be asked for much however. He has an uncanny ability to find work needing to be done and is usually doing it already by the time he is asked. I just asked him to work on a floor in a teacher’s room by calling him and he stated he was working on it as I was talking to him. He already had a plan to complete the job. I often find him working on some project I meant to ask him about around the school. Jerry is constantly looking for things to fix and improve at Boundary County Middle School.

Jerry has also provided leadership to our other maintenance and custodial employees. With his improvements and organization the other custodial employees have had a clear direction to go with during their work time. They have been more successfully completing their jobs and helping our school maintain the cleanliness the students deserve. Our staff has recognized the much more maintained and clean school and appreciate the work Jerry is doing to make this happen.

We would all like to thank Jerry for bringing cooperation, an outstanding work ethic, and leadership to our school.

--David Miles II, Principal BCMS
