nutritionists, and natural health practitioners in more than
thirty countries.

Looking Back

So, you are committed. You are going to go to
the gym three to five times a week and lifting
weights, or going to Zumba or Spinning or Body
Blast or Aerobics or using the treadmill. And,
now it’s the middle of January and so far you
are doing great.
Your cardio and endurance are starting to get
better and you may even be feeling a little bit
better.
But are you sabotaging all the hard work you are
doing while you are at the gym? |

With the New Year comes Resolutions. 40% of
Americans make a New Year’s Resolution while
only eight percent actually reach their goal.
The number one Resolution in 2013 was to lose
weight.
That was my Resolution eight years ago.

Every year October rolls around and with October
comes Breast Cancer Awareness month. I am amazed
at how much money is raised for a “cause” that
has turned Boobies into something of a sex
symbol with teenage boys sporting “I Love
Boobies” wrist bands and T-shirts.
Really, isn’t there a better way to promote
something that devastates so many lives?
Has anyone thought about Prevention rather than
Awareness? |

Trying to lose weight but just can’t seem to get
past those cravings every few days or weeks?
Well, most likely your body is trying to tell
you something so listen up!
Most often, your
body is lacking minerals or other important
nutrients. If you are craving sugar in
particular here are a few ways that might help
stop those uninvited sugar cravings. |

Mitochondrion, Cytoplasm, Ribosomes, Nucleus,
Golgli Complex ... what you say?
Remember these words from biology and
science class?
“Oh please don’t take me back to biology class!”
you may be saying.
But if you are at all interested in your health
you NEED to go back there.
You see,
all
life processes take place inside our cells.
By looking at the structure and shape of
your red blood cells you can gain a better
understanding of your overall health.
Your body has an internal
terrain, or “playground."
If this internal terrain is lacking
proper nutrients, flow, and energy your overall
health may be suffering.
Individual life and health energies show
in the drops of blood.

Since so many people are struck with the flu and
terrible colds I am interrupting our series on
digestion to give you some information that you
can use as ammunition against those nasty
viruses floating in the air.

If you aren’t familiar with essential oils, this
will give you a little insight to their
properties and their value.
If you aren’t using them to fight the
crud … why not?!
Essential oils are the life blood of the plant
and are some of the oldest and most powerful
therapeutic agents.
Essential oils have an ancient history.
Even Baby Jesus was given the essential
oils of frankincense and myrrh.
The Holy Bible includes over 1,301
references to essential oils, aromatic
oil-producing plants, and there application.
Essential oils have many healing
properties – they aren’t just for aromatherapy.
Essential oils have been known to help combat
everything from mild skin irritations to cancer.
I use oils on a daily basis, taking them
internally or applying them on my face (I make
my own moisturizer using essential oils, coconut
oil, hemp oil, avocado oil, and other
moisturizing oils).
They are my first aid kit.

Are you suffering from ailments such as feeling
nauseous, obesity, underweight, allergies,
anxiety, chest pains, heartburn, constipation,
diarrhea, parasites, frequent stomach discomfort
after eating, acne, passing gas, colitis,
Crohn’s, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Duodenal
ulcers, menstrual cramps, arthritis or a myriad
of other ailments?
If so, you may want to consider focusing on your
digestion. Improve it and see what happens!
Your digestive system is approximately 25 to 31
feet long and consists of your mouth, esophagus,
stomach, small intestine, large intestine,
liver, gall bladder, bile duct, pancreas, and
rectum. By looking at our bodies it doesn’t seem
possible that this area covers approximately 25
feet!
Amazing, but true! Since your digestive system
is so large, you shouldn’t discount its
importance in many health issues.

Your health is your wealth – a jewel in your
treasure chest. As I start writing on newsbf.com,
it is my desire to help my readers realize that
your health is one of the best gifts you can
give your loved ones. I will be writing articles
focused on NATURAL means of dealing with common
health concerns.
We live in a world where allopathic medicine has
made it a common practice to use a pill to mask
a symptom rather than finding out what is
causing the symptom to appear. We search for a
little pill to help with problems ranging from
heart burn to low libido. Wouldn’t it be nice to
find out what is causing the heart burn or other
symptoms in the first place?
My goal is to get my readers to make changes in
their lifestyle so they don’t get sick. If you
are healthy you can’t be sick.
Hippocrates coined the term, “Let thy food be
thy medicine, let thy medicine be thy food."
