Fredrick “Fred” Richardson, 85, died at his home
in Lyman, Wyoming, on Friday, August 19, 2016.
Gravesite service will be at the Lyman Cemetery
at 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 9.
He was born on August 20, 1930, in Bonners Ferry
to Leslie L. and Pearl Marie Richardson.
Fred served his country honorably for 21 years
in the United States Army and was a prisoner of
war during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid
ocean fisherman and enjoyed boating, hunting and
camping. He loved working with wood and was a
master carpenter.
Fred is survived by his children Terrie D.
(Robert) Abernathy; Nancy L. (Bernie) Hatfield;
Deborah E. (Rex) Winkler; 16 grandchildren; 27
great-grandchildren; two
great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor
“Scotty” Richardson; parents, Leslie and Pearl;
brothers Robert D. Richardson, Charles E.
Richardson, Lyle D. Richardson and Leslie Roy
Richardson; sisters Rosetta M. Lochman, Betty J.
Bennetto and Pearl M. Hanson. He was also
preceded in death by a grandson, Steven D.
Kelley.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of
Crandall Funeral Home. |
