William Moore passed away April 20, 2016 in his
home at the age of 67. Services will be held on
Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 6:00p.m. at the
family home.
William was born November 28, 1948 in Purcell,
Oklahoma. His parents were Harry and Maxine
Moore. He was married to Phyllis in Reno, Nevada
in 1972. They have two daughters, Tamara and
spouse Brian, Peggy and spouse Miguel, along
with four grandchildren; Emily, Joshua, Nolan
and Abigail.
After graduating high school he enlisted in the
United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic
and served two years in Vietnam with a total of
eight active years and twelve years as a
reservist. He then worked Civilian Services at
Travis Air Force Base following his military
retirement. After his retirement from the Civil
Service, he and his wife Phyllis retired to
North Idaho. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking
and home improvements around his home, which he
was very proud of.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Dorothy,
Edith, and Sue, brother Bill Whiteley. Survived
by brothers Gary, Ben, sisters Lorraine, Corky,
and many extended family and friends.
Any donations, or memorial funds to be send to
St. Ann Catholic Church, Bonners Ferry, Idaho
83805, (rebuilding fund) in honor of his
military service and life.
