Irmajean
Spencer passed away peacefully at home June 3,
2015. Services were held on Monday, June 8, 2015
at 1:00 p.m. at the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home
in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Interment followed at
the Grandview Cemetery, Bonners Ferry.
She would have celebrated
her 50th birthday this October. Her father,
Kenneth Franklin Thornbrugh II, and her Uncles
Rick and Terry Stevens, were there to greet her
when she arrived in Heaven.
Irmajean was born in
Oakland, California to Kenneth and Nancy
Thornbrugh, and raised with her three brothers:
Kenneth III, Steven, Mike, and her sister
Tabitha. As a child, she was a tag-along with
her Papa; Pastor A.M. Stevens, and Grandmother
Irma J. Stevens. She was their beloved
grandchild. She married the love of her life,
best friend, and high school sweetheart Randy
Spencer on June 4, 1983. They had 5 children:
Duke, Jason, Shane, Cory, and Victoria. She
wanted to live her life in the best way she
could according to her goals which were to be
the best wife, mother, sister, daughter, and
friend she could be. She succeeded with grace
and love.
As her children grew they
counted her as a Mother and friend. She was
always there with love, encouragement, and
advice. Jason Spencer married Cassie Layton in
2004 and gave her her grandson Cason in 2007,
and granddaughter Jaycie in 2009. Shane gave her
her second granddaughter Lexi in 2008. Duke
married Billie Joe Copeland in 2013 and gave her
Blake and Pamela, then the youngest grandson,
Dante in 2014.
She will be dearly missed
by family and friends everywhere.
