February 3, 2015 |
Norma Frances Snyder passed away on January 21,
2015 from complications of surgery and a heart
attack at her home in Naples, Idaho.
She is survived by her loving husband and our
children Vernon Wisdom, Laura Crafts, Michael
Snyder,
Jerry Snyder, Timothy Snyder, Jeffrey Snyder,
numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was born in Palisades, Colorado to Ross
(Red) Barlow Stephens and Carrie Elnora Davis
Stephens. They moved to Aztec, New Mexico. When
she was very young, and at seven years old they
moved to San Bernardino, California, and then to
Redlands, California, where she graduated from
Redlands High School.
She was originally married to Darrel Wisdom, and
later married David Snyder. She was undoubtedly
the most kind and caring person who believed in
God and His church. She actively attended and
participated in its activities. She truly cared
about her family as she worked hard to support
them and always had employment to help her
family. In her early years she worked for the
U.S. Government, then as a liquor store clerk
and store manager. She then proceeded to work
for the Walt Disney Company at Disneyland in
Anaheim, California. After fourteen years she
retired and ultimately went work for WalMart
Stores as a cashier. She worked for WAL*MART
Stores for seven years, and then changed to work
for Dr. Michael Snyder in Sonora, California.
From
there she went to work for the Community Thrift
Store of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She will be sorely missed by many people, her
family, and myself her husband. A memorial
service will be held on February 14, 2015 at the
Bonners Ferry Seventh Day Adventist Church, at
513353 North Highway 95, Bonners Ferry, Idaho,
at 4:30 p.m.
She will be remembered by members of several
Seventh Day Adventist Churches, the cast members
of Disneyland, friends, and the family of Norma
Snyder,
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to
your favorite cancer fighting organization or
hospital. May God bless all of you who have
recognized and respected this great lady. |
