and played four years of high school baseball, a
game he loved his entire life.

time in Panama as a combat engineer and
demolition expert; he also played baseball for
the army team. After his discharge he worked
with his father in the plastering and furniture
business.
Zeke married Charmaine Reid on Nov. 12, 1960. In
1969, Zeke and Charmaine bought Moore’s
Furniture and served the people of the
Lewis-Clark Valley for the next 57 years.
Zeke was a member of the Lewiston Lions Club and
a member of Lewiston Elks for 25 years. He
served on the Lewiston Children’s Home Board of
Directors and coached youth baseball for 20
years. Zeke enjoyed traveling, fishing, spending
time at their condo in Kona, Hawaii and being
with family. Zeke was an amazing husband, father
and grandfather. He worked hard and taught his
children and grandchildren the value of hard
work and honesty. Zeke was a friend to everyone
and never knew a stranger. He was very patriotic
and loved his country.
Zeke is proceeded in death by his mother and
father. He is survived by Charmaine, his wife of
53 years at the family home; two sons, Lance
