Francis
(Frank) S. Lippy died peacefully at the of
age 91 at home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on
May 15, 2014 from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Frank was born Sept 4, 1922 in Baltimore,
Maryland to Lillian (Johns) & Francis
S.
Lippy.
He honorably served his country in World War
II from 1942-1945, first in the 302nd
Infantry, 94th Division, then in the 327th
Bomb Squadron, 92nd Bomb GP as a bombardier
in the Army Air Corps serving in the
European Theater. He was discharged on
October 27, 1945 at the rank of Staff
Seargent.
He resided after the war in Towson, Maryland
with his devoted wife Vena (Speaks) Lippy
(deceased in 2008). Frank enjoyed his work
as a well-respected realtor with Russell T.
Baker Co. and later with Coldwell Banker. He
moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho in 2010 to
live with his daughter Elaine Wheatley, her
husband Craig, and grandchildren Tyler
Wheatley with wife Rachel, and Travis
Wheatley.
Survivors also include: son Francis (Frank)
Lippy of Parkville, Maryland; grandchildren
Matthew Lippy, Sean Lippy, Michael
Ostendorf, Anna Ostendorf; daughter-in-laws
Andrea Sweet and Wilma Edelenbos, as well as
many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces
and nephews. Frank was also preceded in
death in May by his lifelong friend Ralph
Miller.
Frank will be missed and never forgotten.
