L. "Ditty" Lauritsen, 60, Bonners Ferry, was
called home to Heaven on Feburary 14, 2014.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11
a.m. Wednesday, February 19, at Mountain Springs
Church, 6789 Main Street, Bonners Ferry. In lieu
of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent
to Mountain Springs Church.
Ditty was born in Philadelphia and worked at
Woolworths in Neshaminy Mall as a dishwasher for
many, many years.He was formerly from Oakford,
Pennsylvania.
He had so many friends and was loved by many. He
moved to Bonners Ferry with his family in 2004
and loved it here. He then moved to Ace Elder
Care about two years ago and that was home to
him. He loved the other residents and
caretakers. He always had a joke and a smile. He
will be missed by many.
He is survived by his sisters: Dawn (Tee)
Timmons, Bonners Ferry, ID , Dana (Ace)
VanHeusden, Bonners Ferry, and Rozanne (Charles)
Pastorella, Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and brother
David Lauritsen, Spokane, plus one niece and six
nephews.
