Maxine M. Cassal

Maxine M. Cassal (Jones), also known as "Maggie," left this world to be with her Heavenly Father January 7, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones.

Maggie was born on January 31, 1934, to Gerald and Geneva Jones, in Crawford, Nebraska.

She has survived by her numerous siblings, Duane Jones and his wife Kathie, Loren Jones and his wife Nona, Allen Jones and his wife Arlyn, Patsy Long (Jones) and her husband LaVon, Babe Heidenreich (Jones) and her husband Carl, and Kathy Meyer (Jones), and her husband Ed. As well as her children; Bruce Cassal and his wife Jolene, Mona Cassal-Fancher, Ronnie Cassal- Bustillos and her husband Bill. Many grandchildren; Kalene Cassal, Bryce Cassal, Jeremy Cassal, Josh Krebs, William Fancher and his wife Amanda, Eric Balch, Chris Hoover, Aubry Dunn (Hoover) and her husband Jeremy. And also her Great- Grand children whom Maggie was extremely fond of and was very proud of; Sierra, Sheyann, Wyatt, Jared, Keaghan, Kelly Anne, Blake, Ryker, Declan, Natanya, and Xander.

Maggie is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Cassal, and her son Robert Cassal.

Maggie spent her days in Bonners Ferry at the local Senior Citizen Center, with her friends. She always had a ton of fun, and loved her life, family, and friends.

Maggie was best known for her compassion for others, spunky personality, awesome laugh, great sense of humor, and the twinkle in her eyes. She enjoyed fishing with her daughter, and her good friend, Curt, at Smith Lake, goofing off with her granddaughter, assembling puzzles with her neighbors, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy with her friend, Jan.

And if you ever wanted to play a good game of skip-bo or cribbage, Maggie was the one to find! Maggie made a great impact on the people in her life. Heaven has received a beautiful soul, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
