Theon Isabelle Ames Albrecht, 85, passed away at her home near Porthill, Idaho, on September 2, 2013. Services will be held be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 7, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bonners Ferry.

Theon was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on October 10, 1927. Theon is the fifth child born to Raleigh Leroy Ames and Ellen Shaw Greenwell Ames.

The family moved from Pocatello to Ogden, Utah, when Theon was a little girl, and she went to first grade in Pengree Grade School. They moved back to Pocatello when Theon was in second grade in Roosevelt Grade School. After she began attending Franklin Jr. High School in Pocatello, the family moved to Crosby, Washington, where Raleigh Ames was employed in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton.

She graduated from Silverdale High School in Silverdale, near Crosby, and when WW II started she went to work in the Bremerton Navy Shipyard. As events unfolded, Theon moved from Bremerton to Tacoma to Yelm, Washington, and eventually to Bonners Ferry in 1987. She has been a resident in Bonners Ferry since that time.

Theon Isabelle Ames Albrecht is preceded in death by her parents, Raleigh Leroy Ames, Ellen Shaw Greenwell Ames; baby Ames; her two brothers, Raleigh Thomas Ames and Calvin Leroy Ames; and her sister, Mary Ames Stinger.

She is survived by her brother Rulon (Bud) Erwin Ames, sister Mona laVerle Ames and her children: Wayne Harvey Smith, Clifford Lee.Smith, Vicki Rae Seversike, Lleslie Rene Pineda; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
