DeVeau, age 62, passed away on April 26, 2013,
in White River Junction, Vermont.
She was born in Portland, Maine, on April 20,
1951, to Belle and Joseph Dellamano. She was
raised in Vermont with her brother and three
sisters, where she enjoyed the outdoors,
photography and art.
After high school she adventured west to Wyoming
and Idaho and settled in Bonners Ferry in 1978.
While raising her daughters she enjoyed hiking,
camping, gardening and exploring. She was an
independent woman with a wicked sense of humor.
Rita is survived by daughters Della Armstrong of
Bonners Ferry and Sikora Armstrong of Seattle. A
graveside service will be held in Springfield,
Vermont, in the summer. |
