BCMS seeks parents to help
September 29, 2016
By Principal David Miles II

Wow, another week at Boundary County Middle School has gone by in a flash! Routines are being created and sometimes challenged. The busy time of sporting events has arrived.

Cyn Reneau will be at our school on Thursday during advisory to present information to students on the dangers of prescription drugs. Cyn is presenting on behalf of the Idaho Prevention Project and our goal is to inform students about misuse of prescription drugs and curb this growing trend.

Athletics have begun and our numbers are large once again. It is always nice to see such great participation from our students. Please look at the schedule below for details.

Intramurals have begun! Student who have turned in all their work and are not facing discipline issues get to enjoy about 30 minutes of in school activities each day around their lunch time. I hope the students are enjoying this incentive.

Teachers have been actively engaging students in our curriculum. It is great to see teachers using many of the methods learned over this summer in their classrooms and seeing the students enjoy their lessons.

BCMS is currently looking for parents who would be interested in discussing ideas and sharing information from Boundary County Middle School. We are also interested in eighth grade parents willing to be the eighth grade promotion dance committee.

If you are interested in either of these opportunities, please contact me at BCMS, 267-5852, to sign up and leave contact information.
