Pearl Theater looking for community volunteers
May 24, 2016
By Michael Meier
Boundary County Public Information Officer

The Fabulous Pearl Theater on Ash Street in Bonners Ferry has been a wonderful place for local emerging artists to perform and grow. The Pearl a nonprofit organization since 2012, supported primarily through membership and volunteers, has provided a local facility for plays, music groups, concerts, and many other modes of entertainment.

Now the Pearl is extending the opportunity for leadership in the following positions:
• Two Board members for a three year term.
• Two Committee members for each of the following committees:
• Performance
• Facilities
• Public Relations
• Membership
• Open need for Volunteers to assist at the Pearl

All these fabulous positions require about ten hours a month. It is an opportunity to steer the Pearl in the direction that serves the needs of our community and public.

We have a fun group of existing Committee members and you are asked to come join us at the Pearl. The rewards are huge, and it is the chance to really serve the community.

All of us at the Pearl, including the performers, guests, and members, thank the community for their investment and heartily applaud the job the current Board Members are doing. We look forward to working with new volunteers in leadership positions to keep The Pearl Theater great!

For more information please contact the Pearl at 208-610-2846 or info@thepearltheater.org.
