Badger Girls Softball, Boys Baseball sweep all
games vs Timberlake on Saturday, four games to
none; both Badger teams now alone in first place
in Intermountain League |

The Bonners Ferry Badger Boys' Baseball and
Girls' Softball teams were in similar positions
on Saturday. Both were undefeated in
league play, both have had great seasons, and
both were facing Timberlake, the only other team
undefeated in league play.
Both teams had a two game series with the
Timberlake Tigers on Saturday, with the winner
claiming sole possession of first place in the
league.
Both Bonners Ferry teams had a decisive showing
in their double headers, each sweeping their
series against the Tigers; the final tally of
the day: Bonners Ferry sweeping four games
to none for Timberlake.
The Badger Girls won their first game over
Timberlake 4-0. The Girls' second game was
closer, a 4-3 victory.
The Badger Boys' Baseball team defeated
Timberlake 2-0 in their first game, then won the
second game 10-1.
