Know someone who has given amazing volunteer service to Idaho?  Nominate them for award
November 9, 2015
The nomination deadline for Idaho’s Brightest Star Awards is quickly approaching. All nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, November 13. The awards, recognizing outstanding volunteers in Idaho, will be presented by a representative from Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter’s office on January 21, 2016, at a ceremony at the Owyhee Building in Boise.

Nominations can be submitted at ServeIdaho.gov. Submission categories are: individual, corporation, school, student, senior citizen, organization (nonprofit, government, service) and small business (50 full-time employees or fewer). The First Lady’s Choice and Idaho’s Choice awards also will be presented.

To be eligible, nominees must be Idaho residents who have performed volunteer service during 2015. Companies must conduct business in Idaho to be eligible. If a company’s headquarters are out of state, local affiliates must be engaged in local volunteer activities. Individuals may submit more than one nomination per category or in multiple categories.
