Pearl Theater to host Annual Fall Festival and Fashion Show for Boundary County Victim Services
October 28, 2015

Boundary County Victim Services

It is that time of year again! We start to lose our tan, shake off that summer heat, quit worrying about our yards, drink and eat pumpkin spice… everything… and begin the season of celebrations!

We are so pleased to announce that Boundary County Victim Services, formerly, Boundary County Youth Crisis and Domestic Violence Hotline, will be holding its annual Fall Festival and Fashion Show at the Pearl Theater. Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 7, 2015. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and merriments begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10, and you may purchase them at Under the Sun or the Boardwalk Boutique, both located on Main Street, in the historic district of downtown Bonners Ferry.

We will be blessed again this year to don distinctive and timeless apparel courtesy of Anne Bonar and the Boardwalk Boutique, and will get the pleasure of bidding on Karen Moore’s beautiful and exclusive baskets during the live and silent auctions that will be held that evening. Beer and wine will be available for purchase, made possible by Under the Sun. Many auction items are presented to bid on and all proceeds will go directly to benefit the Boundary County Crisis Line and the Boundary County victims of crime, including, but not limited to, victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

The Crisis Line at 208-267-5211 is in operation 24/7 and 365 days of the year by trained volunteers and staff. Boundary County Victim Services are available to provide support, offer information, provide court escort, education and referral services to victims of crime and their immediate families, witnesses and survivors. We encourage people of all ages, gender and culture to contact us at any time for assistance navigating the sometimes overwhelming legal system, and the often frightening realities of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. All of the services that we offer are free to the community.

For more information please contact us at 208-267-5211. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are located in the basement of the courthouse. Email us at bcycdvh@gmail.com with any questions you may have. We look forward to celebrating compassion, community and empowerment with all of you at the Pearl!
