Idaho legislative bill recognizes Boundary County Centennial
March 3, 2015
So far, six weeks into the current Idaho legislative session, 454 bills have been introduced. Although many of those bills deal with budgeting, fish and game rules, tax issues and more, one bill before the legislature is of a more personal nature for Boundary County.

Senate Concurrent Resolution 112, co-sponsored by Senator Shawn Keough, Representative Heather Scott, and Representative Sage Dixon, recognizes and congratulates Boundary County on its Centennial anniversary this year, recognizing the formation of Boundary County back in 1915.

The text of the bill enumerates many attributes and historical notes of our county, and concludes stating "the Sixty-third Idaho Legislature, the Senate and the House of resentatives concurring therein, that we hereby recognize and congratulate Boundary County and its residents on its Centennial Anniversary."

This Resolution was adopted by voice vote in the Senate yesterday, and was sent to the Idaho House of Representatives for its consideration.
