Missing hunter found safe |

A hunter missing overnight was found safe
yesterday morning after an all-night search by
Boundary Search and Dive Rescue, sheriff's
deputies and a canine.
A helicopter search team from Fairchild Air
Force Base had been put on stand by to assist in
the search, but Alex Koberstein, who had walked
for miles trying to find a main road, was found
before they launched.
The search was in the Twenty Mile area near
Naples. Mr. Koberstein's family said they hadn't
heard from him for 14 hours, and were becoming
increasingly worried. After his safe return, Mr.
Koberstein recounted he had hiked over 30 miles
before being found.
Alex and his family send out a big thanks to all
who assisted.
