Boundary County Independence Day Events, 2014 |

July 4, 2014 |
Eastport, Idaho sponsors its annual Fourth of
July Parade, always an exciting event. The
Eastport Parade begins at 1:00 p.m. Those
wishing to participate in the parade may
assemble in the field just south of town on the
main highway between noon and 1:00 p.m.
The Bonners Ferry Fourth of July Parade begins
downtown at 5:00 p.m. Those participating
in this parade should assemble at the
Fairgrounds beginning at 4:00 pm.
Following the Bonners Ferry Parade, family
events will fill the Fairgrounds while everyone
awaits the evening fireworks program.
These events include a flag presentation and the
national anthem, food and other booths,
firefighter competitions, and a train that all
can ride.
It is anticipated the evening fireworks
presentation will begin at approximately 10:00
pm, give or take some time for it to be
sufficiently dark.
