Special Needs Children all have dreams and wishes that sometimes go undiscovered and never realized. Occasionally those dreams are possible and this is one of those stories.

Aiden Breneman is one of those Special Needs Children. Aiden is wheelchair bound and has lost his power of speech and most of his movements are involuntary.

Aiden’s family stated the Aiden does not smile much anymore, but that Aiden had a special dream that he always wanted to do. Aiden’s dream was simple, to ride in a police car with the lights and siren on.

Thanks to the Bonners Ferry Police Department, Aiden got his dream.

With lights flashing and siren blaring Aiden rode in the back seat with the help of two of his caregivers while his buddy Jonathan Galvin sat in front. The two boys experienced Aiden’s dream and for a moment Aiden was transported to another world from his wheelchair.

A special thank you to all caregivers, and thanks to the Bonners Ferry Police Department for a job well done.
