Shutes family needs prayers

local family is asking for the community's
prayers after a a two-car collision Saturday
evening on Highway 95 near milepost 518 put a
young Bonners Ferry woman in the hospital.
Kelsey Shutes, the daughter of George and Kari
Shutes, who celebrated her 18th birthday
February 4, was flown to Kootenai Medical Center
with undisclosed but serious injuries following
the collision.
Idaho State Police are investigating the
collision but have not released any information.
While her condition is reported as serious,
family members say the Bonners Ferry High School
senior is showing improvement today.
While the
family appreciates the community's prayer,
support, cards and flowers, they request no
visitors at this time as they focus on Kelsey's
recovery. |
