Bible book store opens Monday

February 1, 2014
A new business will open in downtown Bonners Ferry at 10 a.m. Monday as Linda Elliston unlocks the door at the Olive Tree Bible Book Store at 7219 Main Street, which was the old South Hill Furniture.

In addition to Bibles, Bible books and items of a religious theme, the Olive Tree Book Store will offer much more, including a reference area and lending library, classes, consignments and more.

She's welcoming local artists and crafters to offer their wares on consignment, and also offering indoor space for those interested in offering yard sales.

There will also be a variety of classes offered, the first two being Healing Oils of the Bible at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, and GMO Awareness at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 6.

For now, guests at the classes are asked to bring their own folding chairs; if anyone has any they can donate, Linda would love to give them a home!

The Olive Tree Bible Book Store will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. To find out more, call (208) 267-4777.
