Mountain snow watch issued

January 7, 2014
A winter storm watch for the Idaho Panhandle mountains has been issued by the National Weather Service, to be in effect above 3,500 feet from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.

Up to 10-inches of mountain snow is predicted, and North Idaho valleys from Shoshone to Boundary Counties could see two to four inches from a weather front likely to begin with steady snow Wednesday afternoon and intensify overnight before tapering off Thursday morning.
