INWCF accepting scholarship applications

Inland Northwest Community Foundation (INWCF) is currently accepting applications from high school seniors and college students seeking academic scholarships for higher education for the 2014-2015 school year.

Scholarship awards are typically between $500 and $2,000, supporting students in Eastern Washington and North Idaho. More than $147,000 was distributed through 94 scholarship awards last year. Most applications are due by March 1 with the majority of the awards being announced by May.

Founded in 1974, INWCF serves 10 Eastern Washington counties and 10 North Idaho counties to foster vibrant and sustainable communities in the Inland Northwest.

The community foundation currently manages 374 funds valued at over $76 million and has awarded more than $45 million in grants and scholarships since its inception, positively impacting thousands of lives in this region.
