Freezing rain advisory issued

November 29, 2013
The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory for the Idaho Panhandle in effect until 4 p.m. today, which could make travel dangerous.

A narrow band of precipitation in the area has snow mixing with freezing rain, and while the duration of the front is short, it could cause significant impact on roads from Bonners Ferry to Coeur d'Alene.

Less than a quarter inch of precipitation is expected.
