Deep Creek Loop to reopen soon

There have been delays on the north end of
construction near Mirror Lake, but Deep Creek
Loop should reopen by the end of the month.
Boundary County Road and Bridge reports that the
north end of the project will continue into next
week, but the road should, barring weather or
unforeseen circumstance, be finished and the
road reopened by Halloween.
Laurie Doering spoke with one of the state
workers on the bridge project at the south end
of Deep Creek Loop, and was told that all left
to do was the installation of gaud rails, which
should be finished and that end of the road be
reopened by Friday. |
