Flash flood watch issued

The National Weather Service has issued an areal
flash flood warning for Boundary, Bonner and
Kootenai Counties, in effect from Saturday
morning through late Sunday night.
Heavy rains are forecast through the region over
the weekend, especially in the mountains, where
up to two and a half inches of rain is expected.
Valley areas could see up to an inch and a half
of precipitation over the weekend.
The heavy rains could inundate smaller streams
and creeks and trigger mud or rock slides. |
