Power outages planned Sunday night

Both the City of Bonners Ferry and Northern
Lights will be shutting down power beginning at
midnight Sunday for maintenance, which will
affect many in Boundary County going into the
workweek.
Bonners Ferry electrical maintenance will affect
downtown Bonners Ferry and downtown Moyie
Springs, and the outage is expected to last from
two to 20 minutes.
The Northern Lights outage will last from
midnight to 3 a.m., and will affect
everyone served by the North Bench substation,
including north to Mount Hall and from Moyie
Springs to the Montana line.
Many of those to be affected by the Northern
Lights outage were notified by an automated
telephone message on Friday. |
