On Saturday, August 3, dozens of Boundary County alumni began gathering at the former Roundheels pawn shop to pick up their registration forms. Hardly anyone made it inside however, as there was so much back slapping and handshaking going on.

Guffaws, giggles, chuckles and outright laughter was the predominant noise coming from the growing crowd.

How many times does one have to hear "you have not change one bit" or ''you look just wonderful'' before you actually start believing it?

Each grad got a packet containing tickets to leave with various merchants around town for a drawing, and a small bracelet that would provide them with discounts at local eateries.

As the morning turned into early afternoon, classmates scattered around town, but there were still dozens of folk visiting at the provided chairs and umbrellas set up on Main Street.

The city of Bonners Ferry had cordoned off all of Main for this event, with a large stage set up for the street dance that would take place at 9 p.m. Saturday night.

At 3:30 p.m., the whole crowd was gathered in Veterans Memorial park for a mass picture. Again, much laughter and smiling faces.

At 4 p.m., master of ceremonies Dan Meddock officially opened the ceremonies from the Georgia Mae Plaza. Recounting how the "All Class Reunion" had initially began, and ending with recognition of the oldest attending class mate. Dan did a superb job of keeping the crowd smiling and clapping. A large number of BFHS teachers were on hand as well, and again Mr. Meddock introduced each and every one of them. A significant portion of those teachers were grads of Bonners Ferry High themselves.

As the afternoon progress, the crowd continued to grow, filling main street. Food and beer vendors were on hand to feed and water the hungry ones. It quickly became evident that unless one walked around a bit, you would not see everyone.

All ages were represented at this gathering, with several groups of three generations, all having graduated from BFHS.

If one was to judge the success of this All School Reunion by sheer numbers of attendees, then it was a huge success. If judgment went on loud and genuine laughter, well, this was an absolutely rousing success.

Congratulations to the reunion committee for a job well done.

There was far too much going on the get everyone's name, but I am sure many will find themselves or one or more of their friends in the following collection of images of those who brightened the day by attending.
