Fr. Horton to celebrate 25 years as priest

 August 18 will be a special day for the
congregation at Holy Myrrhbearing Women Orthodox
Church, 1957 Pleasant Valley Loop, as they
celebrate Father Gregory Horton's 25th
anniversary to the Orthodox Christian
Priesthood.
Congregants and members of the community are
invited to join Father Horton and Antiochian
Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America
Archbishop Joseph Zehlaoui, Los Angeles, to
commemorate the milestone with a picnic on
church grounds beginning at 12:30 p.m.
"There will be a sax quartet playing, which
includes my beloved wife, Cindy," Father Horton
said. "So please consider coming to our little
informal celebration on Sunday afternoon!" |
