Severe thunderstorm warning for county

The National Weather Service, Spokane, issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northeastern Boundary County at 12:26 p.m. today.

Doppler radar indicated a severe storm capable of producing quarter-sized hail and winds in excess of 60 miles per hour and cloud to ground lightning in the Copeland area, which could impact the Robinson Lake and Copper Creek campgrounds and Eastport.

The storm is moving northeast at 50 miles per hour.
