Concerned about proposed new union among city
electrical workers |

To the Editor:
I recently found out that our city is
considering bringing a union to
our electrical department. This is not a good
idea, at least not now. I don't know about
anyone else, but I don't want my electric bill
to go up 22-25%.
That is what it will rise to make up for the
wage increase. This would undermine as well the
duties of our new mayor. It sounds to me like
Mr. Anderson and Mr. Boorman are up to their old
tricks again.
This will not effect Mr. Anderson as he is
supposedly moving out of the city limits.
The city council should be very careful with
this consideration.
