Avalanche danger high

The Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center has issued an avalanche warning indicating high avalanche hazard for the entire forecast region, which includes Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai and Shoshone Counties. This warning does not apply to local ski areas within the forecast region. This warning is valid through 6 a.m. Wednesday.
