Badger Baseball Batemans Bomb Wildcats |

Brady Bateman, Seth Bateman and Ty Bateman went
a combined 6 for 9 at the plate accounting for 5
doubles and a two-run home run from Brady
Bateman and a total of 6 RBI in pounding the
Kellogg Wildcats 11 – 1 in a five inning game.
Shayne Walker also had a great day going 3 for 4
and 4 RBI in an offensive display for the
Badgers. The game was played Monday, April 23 in
Bonners Ferry.
Senior pitcher Chris Sabin gave up two first
inning singles and then proceeded to shut down
the Wildcat offense striking out eight batters.
The Badgers scored three runs in the first and
second innings and erupted for four runs in the
bottom of the fifth inning to preserve the game
shortened 10 run rule game.
The win puts the Badger baseball team at 8 – 4
and 4 – 1 in IML play.
