Stacey Dean BCH patient care Employee of the
Month |
December 13, 2017 |
Nurse Stacey Dean started working at Boundary
Community Hospital’s Acute Care Unit in April,
2014. She has a strong 20 year nursing
background, which makes her one great asset to
this facility.
Stacey is pretty amazing; she is not only
compassionate and kind, she has the medical
smarts, too! The combination of qualities she
brings to patient care have earned her the honor
of being named Boundary Community Hospital's
December patient care Employee of the Month!
Stacey gives 100-percent plus to her patients.
She captures the heart of the nursing practice.
Stacey has solid communication skills that
include the listening components of
communication.
If you cannot find Stacey at the desk, you know
she is in a room with the patients, meeting
their needs and sometimes just finding time to
hear their story.
Stacey is an amazing patient advocate -- she is
great at balancing the patient's needs with the
collaboration of the medical team. She has taken
on the challenge to be the Acute Care Wound
Nurse, and is doing an excellent job, again
looking at all the components of the needs of
the patient.
Her co-workers say that Stacey is "Intensely
Intelligent," "Constant as the North Star,"
"Energetic," "Compassionate." Stacey is also
known as "that dread lock girl," and is loved by
everyone.
Thanks Stacey for what you give to your patients
and co-workers every day! You are one of the
reasons that Boundary Community Hospital is a
great place to work. |
