I would like to introduce Bev Heigel as
November’s Boundary County School District’s
Classified Employee of the Month! Bev, a special
education assistant, is an outstanding
individual who makes Boundary County Middle
School a better place just by showing up every
day.
She is a very dedicated, friendly and
compassionate person whom students and staff
enjoy being around.
Bev is very dedicated to BCMS. She is almost
always at work and on time and spends more time
than required just to make sure she is doing a
good job. She spends most of her time genuinely
trying to help students as best she can and can
often be seen taking students aside and giving
extra attention to those who need a little extra
help with their school work.
I have never heard her complain about anything
she does at school and she is committed to
making BCMS the best place it can be.
She is also very friendly. She is able to talk
with anybody about anything and treats everyone
with respect. The students recognize this and
often approach her to discuss their academic and
personal concerns, knowing she will listen and
try to help them in any way she can.
The staff respects Bev because she listens and
tries to help them when she can as well.
Bev is a compassionate person as well. She often
speaks to me and other staff about how we or she
can improve a situation for a student or the
school. She does not shy away at speaking up for
students who need it and she will discuss
concerns and suggestions for improvement when
she feels she needs to or when she sees
something that could be better.
Bev is a wonderful person to have at our school
because she is dedicated, friendly and
compassionate. She makes BCMS a better place
with her presence. Students and staff alike seek
her out for her ability to listen and help when
needed. |
