Delta Kappa Gamma is honored to recognize Gavin
Flower as their October student of the month.
Gavin is the epitome of a hard-working good
student, according to Judy Wages, science
teacher at Bonners Ferry High School.
"He is responsible and mature, and a joy to have
in class," Wages said.
Flower was in her biology class as a junior and
she invited him to be her teacher's aide this
year.
A new member to Future Farmers of America,
Flower has proven to be an integral part of the
organization. The Harvest Night Banquet November
5 will find Flower as one of the auctioneers for
one of the evening's events.
Flower is also involved in the community. He is
a long-standing member in 4-H for market animals
and continues gaining knowledge through the FFA
program.
He enjoys riding equestrian and hunting elk and
deer in season.
Flower is a role model for his peers and the
youth that he works with.
Delta Kappa Gamma is a society of women
educators that promotes personal and
professional growth of its members and
excellence in education.
The local chapter, Upsilon, congratulates Gavin
Flower on his achievement. |
