Roney, one of 13 Rotary scholarship recipients
in 2011, was unable to attend the Rotary dessert
social at the Kootenai River Inn May 12.
Instead, she paid a visit at a much more mundane
membership meeting June 14 ... where she thanked
the Rotary ... and didn't get any ice cream.
She's a classy example of yet another classy
class of Bonners Ferry High School graduates!
Brooke plans to attend Idaho State University
and pursue a degree in pharmacy. To attain her
goal, she has up to seven more years of study
ahead of her!
She wanted to thank the local Rotary in person
for the scholarship she received, consequently
her appearance at the membership meeting on June
14.
This young woman is going to go far! Best
wishes, Brooke!
