Joseph Paul Hessenkemper, 63, passed away
peacefully surrounded by the people he dedicated
his life to on Monday, December 4, 2017, at his
home in Troy. A celebration of life will be held
this summer.
He was born on August 28, 1954, in St. Louis,
Missouri, to Werner and Betty Hessenkemper.
Joe and Kathy were married on August 1, 1981, at
high noon in the Yaak. He attended the College
of Forestry in Kalispell, where he received a
Degree in Forestry. He retired from the US
Forest Service in 2010, and was a member of the
Idaho Beach Club.
Survivors include his wife Kathy Hessenkemper,
Troy, children Tamara, Troy, Stefanie, Kent,
Washington, and Adam, Troy, and brothers Richard
Hessenkemper, William Hessenkemper and Charles
Hessenkemper.
Joe will be forever remembered as a loving
husband, father, brother and friend.
