Donald J. “Butch” Perkins Jr., 61, died in his home
in Bonners Ferry on April 16, 2017. A celebration of Butch’s life will be
held at Fieser Funeral Home in Fenton, Missouri,
from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 13.
Butch is survived by his son, Ryan Perkins,
Austin, Texas, sister Donita Luaders and her
husband Brent Luaders, Montreal, Missouri, and
his brother Richard Perkins and his partner
Yvonne Yates, of Fenton, Missouri, and many
nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita
Perkins, his father, Donald J. Perkins, and his
nephew Joseph Perkins.
Butch was a veteran of the Gulf War and
travelled the world while serving his country.
He retired as a major in the U.S. Army in 1991.
Butch was a voracious reader, a studied
numismatist, and he loved fishing for crappie. |
