Andre Norman 'Andy' Bushnell |
July 24, 1963 ~ May 7, 2017 |
May 9, 2017 |
Andre Norman “Andy” Bushnell, 53, Troy, passed
away at his home on Sunday, May 7, 2017.
Services for Andy will be held 2 p.m. MST
Friday, May 12, at the Troy Church of God, where
his father is pastor.
Andy was born July 24, 1963, in Bonners Ferry to
Gene and Ruth (Obermayer) Bushnell. He attended
rural McCormick Elementary school until the
family moved to Canada. After more than eight
years, the family returned to Troy, where he
graduated from Troy High School.
Andy loved the woods and he was an avid hunter
and fisherman. He became a sawyer for some time
and then went into the construction industry and
traveled all over as a trackmount excavator
operator for Kewitt. His work took him to
Alaska, Kauai, and all parts in between, working
on new roads, jettie’s, etc.
Both of those vocations were hard on his back
and he became somewhat disabled and, as a
consequence, he suffered with pain a great deal.
Andy is now free from that pain; home safe in
Heaven and reunited with his beloved German
Shepherd dog, “Trophy.”
He is survived by his parents Gene and Ruth
Bushnell and brothers Scott and Monte, all of
Troy.
Andy was a kindly man and cared about others,
always the life of the party. He will be greatly
missed by those who knew and loved him.
Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg
