Harold George Vandenberg, 70, died February 8,
2017, in New Albany, Indiana. Harold's
celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday, April 22 at his sister Jean's house in

Harold was born August 17, 1946, in Bonners
Ferry, to Marvin and Irene Vandenberg Sr.
He attended school in Bonners Ferry until his
senior year, when he moved to Coeur d'Alene to
join his family. He was a member of the United
States Air Force National Guard. He worked at
Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood until illness forced
his retirement. He was a member of the United
Steelworkers of America Local 338.
Harold is survived by his wife, Judy of New
Albany, Indiana, and her three children and
grandchildren; his children Jeff, Jennifer,
John, Tom, Dan, and Stacey, his 10 grandchildren
and two great grandchildren. He is also survived
by his mother, Irene Vandenberg, his sisters,
Kathy (Dick) Epstein and Jean (Ric) Berg and his
brother, Gary (Carol) Vandenberg and several
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin
Vandenberg Sr, his brother, Marvin Vandenberg Jr,
and granddaughter Kelli. |
