Richard Allen “Dick” Boisselle, 70, of Yakima,
died Sunday, February 19, 2017 at his home after
an extended illness. There will be a memorial
service March 23. Details will follow.
Dick was born August 21, 1946, in Yakima,
Washington, to Elmer James and Lois Mary
(Shields) Boisselle. He was raised in the Harrah
area, attending White Swan Schools and graduated
in 1964 from White Swan High School.
He attended one year at Cal Poly in San Luis
Obispo, Californa. In October, 1964, Dick
married Judy Bos. He farmed with his family in
Harrah until 1983, when he moved to Bonners
Ferry to work for Anheuser Busch.
Dick married Judy Brown Rose in March, 1984. He
moved to Salem, Oregon, where he opened a labor
contracting business. He moved back to Yakima to
be close to family. Dick was a member of the
Catholic Church. He enjoyed traveling and
visiting his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Debbie and Bill
Wirth, East Wenatchee, Washington, Greg and
Christy Boisselle, Yakima, Denise and Steve
Morris, Vancouver, Washington, Matt and Larissa
Boisselle, Phoenix, Arizona, and Dan and Tanya
Boisselle, Yakima, stepdaughter Jennifer Rose,
Salem, Oregon, 11 grandchildren and brothers and
sisters Carol Johnson, Butch Boisselle, Connie
Merz, Dorothy Heintz, Marjie Balch, Dave
Boisselle, Jim Boisselle, Doug Boisselle and
Mary Boisselle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother
Robert Boisselle and sister Rosalie Boisselle.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brookside
Funeral Home and Crematory. |
