Dennis Ray Envik, 66, passed away on Monday,
January 29, 2018, in Coeur d‘Alene. Viewing will
be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday,
February 8, at Lakeview Funeral Home, S301 Olive
Avenue, Sandpoint. Funeral services will follow
at 1 p.m.
Dennis was born in 1951 in Bismarck, North
Dakota, to Gene and Lorrine Envik. He grew up
and attended schools in Sonoma, California,
graduating from Sonoma Valley High School in
1969. Dennis served his country in the United
States Air Force. He attended Santa Rosa Junior
College and worked construction with his father
Gene.
Dennis was married to Patricia Williams, but
later divorced.
In 1978 Dennis moved to North Idaho, where he
continued to work construction with his father
and as a millwright in Moyie Springs.
At Dennis’ 25th high school reunion, he reunited
with Joyce Wong. They were married on May 6,
1995, in Sandpoint. Dennis owned and operated
Realty Plus, Inc. until his retirement in 2009.
Dennis was active in the local community. He
introduced the D.A.R.E. program with Deputy Jim
Peasha, sponsored Sandpoint Slam, volunteered at
the Festival at Sandpoint and coached soccer. He
was a member of the Sandpoint B.P.O. Elks.
He enjoyed golfing, music, playing guitar,
singing, gardening and was a fan of baseball.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Envik, Sagle,
sons Erik (Shava) Envik, Levi (Stacy) Envik and
Ivan (Valerie) Envik, grandchildren Zach, Alex,
Seirra, Carter, Liam and Chloe, sister Vikki
(Dan) Eraldi, Sonoma, California, and uncle Bob
(Donna) Bickel of Arizona. |
