After
70 years, Phyllis Raye Thomas, completed her
life’s journey on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in
Bonners Ferry. Services will be held on

Murphys, California.
She was born in Murphys on May 27, 1942, the
daughter of Mizpah and Wes Thomas.
She attended Hazel Fischer School and Bret Harte
High School. With a contagious laugh that would
fill up a room, Phyllis had an incredible blend
of style, toughness and loving tenderness that
will never be matched. Filled with compassion
and interest in others, Phyllis made friends
easily and maintained contact with many.
Her signature gift of joy, shown through her
constant smiling, laughter, and joking around,
will never be forgotten. She enjoyed gardening
and spending time with family friends and her
many pets.
The great memories Phyllis has provided will
sustain us as we celebrate her life for many
years to come. Always in our thoughts and
forever in our hearts. Those we love don’t go
away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen,
unheard, but always near. Still loved, still
missed and very dear.
She is survived by her children Rebecca Yates,
Dania Beach , Florida, Jim Eaves, Arnold,
California, Deborah Eaves, Yuma Arizona, Kenneth
Thomas, Bonners Ferry, and Mizpah Thomas,
