Carol
Lee Dendurent, 73, passed away at her Bonners
Ferry area home June 30, 2012. Services will be
held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the Church of
Christ in Bonners Ferry.
Our mom, Carol Lee Dendurent, was born in
Youngstown, Ohio, in 1938. She was a strong
woman and mother who overcame many hardships.
She raised three children; Sherry Russell, Susan
Wagner and Sam Stoneham by herself and took them
on the most amazing month long camping adventure
throughout the United States and Canada that
they would cherish for the rest of their life.
All of our lives, we witnessed our mother's many
very generous acts to the people around her and
people abroad and nationally. We also enjoyed
her playfulness and natural joy, expressed in
singing around the house and at church. Our mom
also worked very hard, doing accounting for over
thirty years at the City of Thousand Oaks to
make ends meet.
She loved her many big dogs and was a master
craftswoman who knitted, quilted, crocheted and
collected an extensive Panda collection. She was
married to Wendell Dendurent, and especially
loved living her retirement days with him in her
dream house in Idaho.
She loved to watch the deer and birds that came
around her house. Her faith was very important
to her and became the rock of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30
years. She is survived by her three children,
seven grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to sign Carol's
book at
www.bonnersferryfuneralhome.com.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of
Bonners Ferry Funeral Home. |
