Wayne
W. "JJ" Williams passed away as a result of a
motorcycle accident on April 7, 2012, near Moyie
Springs, Idaho.
A potluck memorial service will be held at 1
p.m. Saturday April 21, at the Northwoods Tavern
in Naples.
On April 7, 2012, the light in our lives got a
little dimmer as we experienced the loss of our
dedicated and devoted husband, loving father,
soft hearted grandpa, caring brother, beloved
son-in-law, and true life long friend. Wayne
rode out of our lives doing what he loved.
Riding his motorcycle with the love of his life
and soul mate, Kelli.
Wayne was born in Wurzburg, Germany, April 11,
1960, to Darius and Margot Williams. They moved
to Sandpoint in the early 1960s. He spent his
childhood getting into mischief with his brother
James and their rowdy crowd. Of course he always
made time to pester his little sister, Shanna.
Wayne went to work for Burlington Northern
Railroad in 1978, and continued to work there
until his death.
In the fall of 1989, Wayne met Kelli Adkins
while working in Libby, Montana. They were soul
mates from the start and were married on April
17, 1993. Together they raised their three
children; Jake, Bobbi, and Bret.
Wayne was adored by his granddaughters. Lexie
truly loved it when she picked the fall apples
with her "cranpa" and he would give her kisses
and tickle her with his "mushmash."
Kamilee was grandpa's "right hand girl" when it
came to emptying the jelly belly jar. Samantha
was his "right beside ya" partner when it came
to meat grinding.
Wayne lived his life to the fullest and he has a
special place in the hearts of all who knew him.
He leaves behind his wife Kelli, their three
children Bobbi (Scott) Wells, Bonners Ferry,
Bret (Linda) Young, Germany, Jake "Irish"
Williams, Sandpoint. His three granddaughters,
Samantha, Lexie, and Kamilee. His brother, James
(Shawna) Williams, Lewistown, Montana, nephews,
Michael and Shane Williams. Sister Shanna
(Aaron) McNall, Sandpoint. niece Madison McNAll.
Sister Yvonne (Bryan) Kriger and their three
children, father Darius (Bernita) Williams and
their children.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother,
Margot Becker Jay, and his granddaughter Kaitlyn
Lee Price-Williams.
We love you and we miss you; Now you are free to
"Enjoy the Ride" until we see you again.
