Robert Duane “Red Rob” Cassal, 55, passed away
on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, in Spokane.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m.
Saturday September 17, 2011, at Ponderosa
Apartments, 4107 Samuelson Avenue, Sandpoint, in
the Community Room.
Rob was born on January 22, 1956, in Sandpoint,
to Ronald and Maxine Cassal. He graduated from
Sandpoint High School in 1975. Rob worked with
his uncle Allen Jones doing concrete work in the
area. In 1990 he moved to Pocatello where he
worked building pole barns as well as in
Montana, Idaho and Wyoming, he had also worked
in Puerto Rico. In 2006 Rob returned to
Sandpoint.
He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, singing
karaoke, riding his bicycle, and his dog
Leonard.
He is survived by his mother Maxine Cassal of
Bonners Ferry; one brother Bruce (Jolene) Cassal
of Spanaway, Washington; two sisters Mona
Fancher of Sandpoint and Rhonda (Bill) Bustillos
of Bonners Ferry; and numerous aunts, uncles,
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald
Cassal in 1988
