Anthony
John Cooper II, 27, passed away on August 30,
2011, at Sturgis, Kentucky, while working in and
on a mine in Union County. Services were held
September 10 at Bonners Ferry Funeral Home.
Anthony was born September 4, 1983, in Vernal,
Utah, to Anthony Cooper of Alaska and Missie
Cooper of Bonners Ferry. Anthony, or Tony as
everyone called him, started school in Boulder
City, Nevada; he also attended school in
Talkeetna, Alaska, and Bonners Ferry.
As a young boy Tony was extremely athletic; he
excelled at wrestling, soccer and baseball. He
also developed a passion for the Oakland
Raiders, his very favorite football team. Tony
fell in love with and married his first and only
true love. Cassandra Romine. and together they
had three beautiful children.
Tony loved and cared for his whole family
deeply. Family and friends were the very most
important things in his life. Tony worked most
of his adult life in underground mining.
Tony is survived by his parents Anthony and
Missie Copper, his brother Brandon and sister
Kristie, his love Cassandra Romine, their three
children Anthony John, III, Nicholas James and
Mariah Ann, his grandmother Joan Erdman and
grandmother Merna Behrman. He also leaves behind
many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
